Yes! The free tier is not time-limited. You can browse and resume your AI sessions indefinitely. Pro is for power users who want to leverage Klip's powerful Terminal Manager (Klip Panel), advanced search across messages and tool calls, session forking, and export capabilities.
What happens to my sessions if I cancel Pro?
Klip only indexes your sessions into a local SQLite database — your original session files from Claude, Codex, and Gemini are never modified. If you cancel Pro, you'll lose access to advanced features, but your data and original sessions remain completely intact.
Is my session data sent to your servers?
No. Klip works entirely locally. Your AI conversations never leave your machine. We take privacy seriously.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes, you can switch at any time. If you switch to yearly, you'll be credited for the remaining time on your monthly plan.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Refunds are available within the first 30 days through the account refund flow. We ask for brief feedback so we can improve Klip before the refund is processed.
What are Tool Suites and Add-ons?
Tool Suites are standalone developer tools (like Agentic Testing) that can be purchased separately or bundled. Add-ons are smaller features (like Semantic Search) at lower price points.
